Privacy Policy

Swerte is built so that we keep as little about you as possible. This page explains what we handle and why, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
1. Your face and palm photos
- Photos are measured inside your own browser. They are never uploaded to Swerte's servers.
- To do this, your browser downloads face-detection model files from Google's servers (MediaPipe). Only the model files are downloaded; your photo is not sent with that request.
- As soon as the measurement is done, the original photo is released from the page. A small cropped preview stays in the page's memory to draw your map, and disappears when you close or reload the page.
- We do not use your photo to identify you, and we never sell or share it.
2. Birth date and time
The birth data you enter for BaZi is calculated in your browser and is not sent to us.
3. Payments
If you buy a report, PayPal processes the payment and receives the details you give them (name, email, card or PayPal account). PayPal's own privacy policy covers that data. Swerte's server only receives the PayPal order number, the report you bought and the payment status, which we need to unlock your report and handle refunds. We never see or store card numbers.
4. Technical data
Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. Swerte does not use advertising trackers or sell personal data.
5. Your rights
You can ask what data about you we hold, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we keep almost nothing, a fresh session already leaves no reading behind. For payment records, reply to your PayPal receipt.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of the page.
